Carrie D. Gottlieb, Ph.D.

I am a licensed clinical psychologist treating patients in New York City and Summit, NJ. I am also approved by PSYPACT to treat by telehealth patients that reside in PSYPACT participating state.
 

It is my goal to help my patients reduce distress and worry and learn how to better tackle obstacles that might be holding them back.  I work collaboratively with my patients to help them develop new and  more effective coping strategies, foster a healthier sense of self and self esteem, and gain a better understanding of the origins of  their behaviors and patterns within their relationships

​I have been working with adults and older adolescents (age 16 and over) since 2005. I have extensive experience helping patients struggling with depression, anxiety, eating disorders, infertility, and perinatal mood and anxiety disorders. In addition, I have received both graduate and post graduate training in Cognitive Behavioral, Dialectic Behavior, and Interpersonal Psychotherapy.
